Spec work in Figma
Clikiti vs Figma
The classic way to pitch a redesign is spec work: a designer studies the prospect’s site, writes up what is wrong and mocks up a better homepage in Figma. Done well it is a very strong pitch, and it is the work Clikiti automates. The cost is time, often a day or more of a designer’s work per prospect, so few agencies do it for more than a handful of leads.
Use Figma when the prospect is worth a bespoke concept, or when the design has to go beyond the homepage. Use Clikiti when you want to pitch many prospects a week and each one should still see their own site, audited and redesigned.

The manual route
What a spec pitch takes
A hand-made spec pitch has three parts: an audit of the current site, a mockup of the better version and a message that ties them together. In Figma the mockup is free-form, so a good designer can show ideas a generator would not. The audit and the brand capture (logo, colours, copy, photos) are still manual work.
Clikiti does all three parts in one run: a scan for usability, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, speed and forms; a homepage rebuilt with the prospect’s brand and content; and a branded link to send.
Figma Make
Prompting a redesign inside Figma
Figma Make turns prompts into code-backed prototypes and web apps. Figma’s own guide says that when you redesign an existing website you can add its URL to the prompt so Make pulls in the content. Its help centre says web fetch reads public pages only, needs a Professional plan or higher, and may fail on sites with anti-scraping protection.
That closes part of the gap with Clikiti. Make still does not audit the site, find prospects or produce a report for the prospect, so you decide what to change and explain why yourself.
Using both
Clikiti to win it, Figma to design it
The two fit together. Clikiti starts the conversation; Figma is where the real design work happens once the client signs. Clikiti’s own Figma plugin, not yet on Figma Community, can bring a Clikiti page into Figma as layers, so that work does not start from a blank frame.
Pricing
Figma pricing vs Clikiti pricing
Figma charges per seat: a Professional Full seat is $20 a month, or $16 billed yearly, and includes Figma Make and Sites with 3,000 AI credits a month. The bigger cost of spec work is the designer’s time, not the seat. Clikiti prices by pitches a month, each with a scan and a redesign.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
Is spec work worth it for web design agencies?
For a few high-value prospects it can be: a bespoke concept shows skill a generated page cannot. For steady outbound prospecting the hours add up fast, which is the case Clikiti is built for.
Can Figma Make redesign an existing website?
Figma says you can add a public site’s URL to a Make prompt to pull in its content, on Professional plans and above (checked 6 November 2026). It does not list an audit of the site or an automatic way to carry the brand over.
What is the main difference between Clikiti and Figma?
Figma: Figma is a design platform. Agencies use it to mock up spec redesigns for prospects by hand. Its newer tools add AI: Figma Make turns prompts into prototypes and web apps and can pull in the content of an existing website from its URL, and Figma Sites (beta) publishes websites from Figma designs. Clikiti finds prospects, scans their site for usability, WCAG 2.2 AA accessibility, speed and forms issues, rebuilds their homepage with their own brand, and packages audit and redesign as one branded link.
How much does Clikiti cost?
Scan free; Starter $49/month (15 pitches); Growth $129/month (50 pitches); Agency $349/month (150 pitches). Prices in USD per month.
